The Client
The "Leading the Way” event took place at the International Convention Center (ICC) in Sydney, Australia, and was attended by an audience of around 5000 people. In addition to the live audience, the event was also recorded for a global audience for the company's TV show.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was managing the end-to-end AV production for the event, ensuring that the live broadcast was seamless, high-quality, and that the recordings were suitable for future TV broadcasts. As the client was based in the US, we needed to liaise with the ICC in Sydney, coordinating the event logistics and aligning the in-venue production with the live TV broadcast requirements. The client was looking for a one stop shop to ensure the broadcast was recorded to their high standard as well as a seamless event on the day.

The Solution
Pre-Event Planning
We initiated a detailed pre-event discussion with the "Leading the Way" team based in the US. Together we talked though the broadcast requirements, the event flow, and the desired outcomes. Additionally, we also coordinated with the ICC to understand the venue's AV capabilities and limitations.
Production Set-Up
Our team designed and set up a comprehensive AV production infrastructure for the event. This included a 7-camera setup for comprehensive coverage, a live switch for the screens in the room, Multitrack broadcast mixing and recording for broadcast tailored audio, and backup systems to ensure everything was captured reliably. We also projected a custom live camera feed to the screens for the audience in the room.
Technical Staff and Support
An experienced team of technicians, sound engineers, camera operators, and support staff were deployed to manage the live event's complex technical demands. We worked closely with the venue Lighting and Audio teams to ensure we had the optimal conditions for the room and the recording.
Live Broadcast & Recording
The event was successfully recorded live for the global audience. We ensured that the broadcast was of top-quality, without any technical glitches.
Post-Production
After the event, our team provided all the data from the event. This included HD ISO Camera records, program video and audio as well as Multitrack audio of all the audio channels on the day ready for the post-production team at the "Leading the Way" TV show.
